Petite Pony Experience

Walk through the beautiful Welsh countryside with your very own four legged fluffy companion.

This is an unique chance to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park in the company of your very own miniature pony. 

​

Meet our two cheeky mini shetlands Derick and Gloria. Help to groom and pamper them before taking them for a stroll around our 200 acre Organic farm with beautiful views across the Brecon Beacons. 

Each Petite Pony Pampering session begins with meeting the ponies, giving them a sneaky treat and finding out more about their unique personalities before finding your match for the walk. You will then take a relaxed stroll around our farm.

Our Pony Pampering sessions are run in very small groups (maximum group size of 4) which means you get maximum hands on time with the animals.

Need to Know

​

  • Please bring wellies or walking shoes, wellies are preferable during wetter months as we will be walking around the farm on potentially muddy terrain.

  • Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Both adults and children will require a ticket. Young children under 12 will share an adult's pony or a pony with an older child and children 3 years and under are free.

  • To ensure the well-being of the ponies and the quality of the experience the group sizes are kept small therefore unfortunately we do not allow bystanders on the experiences

  • The trek is uphill but on reasonable terrain, the sheep are laid back and walk at a leisurely pace

  • Please note that there are friendly dogs on the farm. Your own dogs are sadly not welcome for this experience due to the possible stress levels for the animals.

  • The experience is conducted with small groups so early booking is advisable if you have a particular date in mind.
