What to Expect
Your experience leader will meet you at reception and take you up to meet the ponies. Get ready for giggles and gentle chaos as you team up with miniature Shetlands Derick and Gloria for a playful pony agility session. You’ll guide them through a fun obstacle course (think weaving poles, tiny jumps and lots of challenge) while learning simple handling techniques and building trust.

It’s ideal for families, children (age 8+), and adults alike, no prior pony experience needed. Whether you're looking to build confidence, bond with gentle ponies, or simply share a few laughs outdoors, this experience offers light-hearted joy for all ages and abilities.
Our Ponies
Derick and Gloria were rescued as wild foals from a local market, where their future was uncertain and their trust in humans was yet to be built. With patience, care, and plenty of gentle handling, they’ve grown into the confident, affectionate ponies they are today. Their journey from nervous beginnings to beloved companions is a testament to resilience, and the magic of second chances. Small in size but big in personality. Derick is cheeky and curious, always ready for a new challenge, while Gloria brings calm confidence and a gentle nature to every encounter. Together, they’re the heart of our experiences, delighting visitors with their charm, intelligence, and unmistakable bond. Whether trekking or tackling agility, they make every moment unforgettable.
How does pony agility work?
Pony agility is a fun, groundwork-based activity where you guide a pony through a series of obstacles, similar to dog agility but tailored for equines. Each of our cheeky ponies are specially trained to take part in horse agility. Remember to bring your wellies or walking boots as we will working outside in the unpredictable Welsh weather.

Need to Know

Please bring wellies or walking shoes, wellies are preferable during wetter months.

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Both adults and children will require a ticket. This experience is for people age 8 years and over.

Group size are a maximum of 6. When you book you will book a pony and then how many people will be attending in your book. e.g. 1 pony and 4 people. Or you can book both ponies and up to 8 people. If you need clarification of how this works please get in contact.

To ensure the well-being of the ponies and the quality of the experience the group sizes are kept small therefore unfortunately we do not allow bystanders on the experience.

Please note that there are friendly dogs on the farm. Your own dogs are sadly not welcome for this experience due to the possible stress levels for the animals.

The experience is conducted with small groups so early booking is advisable if you have a particular date in mind.
