What to expect
Step into the tactile world of wool and creativity as you learn the art of wet felting. During this hands-on course, you’ll transform raw fleece into a sturdy, beautiful bag or basket using soap, water, and gentle agitation. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to refine your skills, you’ll leave with a unique, functional creation and a deeper appreciation for the magic of wool.

This is a great experience day for anyone and everyone whether you are a sheep-lover, crafter, smallholder or just fancy having a go at something different!
You don't have to be creative or artistic, remember everything can be art!

Need to Know

Please bring wellies or old trainers and clothes that can get dirty or overalls.

Photos and videos will be taken during the day so you can look back on your shearing experience, if you would prefer not to be photographed please let us know.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that there are friendly dogs on the farm. Your own dogs are sadly not welcome for this experience due to the possible stress levels for the sheep.

The experience is conducted with small groups so early booking is advisable if you have a particular date in mind.
